Russian plane catches fire after landing in Turkiye

ISTANBUL/MOSCOW: A Russian passenger plane burst into flames shortly after landing at Antalya Airport on Turkey's Mediterranean coast.
All 79 passengers were successfully evacuated without any injuries, reported the German news agency (dpa) citing the report of the Russian news agency, TASS.
Firefighters quickly put out the fire that broke out in the engine on the left side of the Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft belonging to the Russian airline Azimuth.
Flight operations at Antalya Airport resumed after the incident.
