Barisan Nasional won the Nenggiri state election by-election

GUA MUSANG: Barisan Nasional (BN) won the Nenggiri State Legislative Assembly (DUN) seat in the by-election (PRK), on Saturday.
BN candidate, Mohd Azmawi Fikri Abdul Ghani won with a majority of 3,352 votes with 9,091 votes.
Meanwhile, Mohd Azmawi's challenger, Mohd Rizwadi Ismail representing Pas, got 5,739 votes.
The victory allowed BN, which represents the Unity Government, to recapture the Nenggiri state seat which was previously under Bersatu, in last year's State Election (PRN).
The Nenggiri state assembly by-election involved a total of 20,259 registered voters witnessing a one-on-one clash between BN candidates and Perikatan Nasional (PN) candidates.
