Independent animal rescuer, Shima Aris, took to social media to share a video she received of a man violently beating his dog at the balcony of his condominium unit.

Today (July 2, 2024), the rescuer coordinated a rescue mission, and spoke with the abuser in a civil manner, which led to the abuser handing over the abused Husky to her.
The victim, now named Kitster, is evidently traumatised but is being examined at a veterinary clinic and cared for by the vets, nurses and the rescuer 🤍.
However, a second dog, a Pomeranian, was left behind with the abuser as he has only handed his Husky over to the rescuer today. 🙏🏽
In a turn of events, the abuser later accused the rescuer of allegedly “kidnapping” his dog, and lodged a police report.
Consequently, the rescuer was instructed to either return Kitster to the abuser, or to the Department of Veterinary Services (DVS).
If returned to DVS and no physical injuries are found on the dog, only the abuser, as his owner, is able to claim and bring Kitster home.
