KUALA LUMPUR: Former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad urged the Ministry of Defense to order two arms supplier companies - Lockheed Martin and BAE Systems - to immediately leave the country.

He emphasized again that Lockheed Martin and BAE Systems are the biggest suppliers of weapons to the Zionist regime that has been attacking and bombing Palestinians since October 7 last year.

In the latest post on his social media page, he said the two companies came to the country to participate in the Defense and Service Asia (DSA) Exhibition and NATSEC Asia 2024 in the capital.

"Their presence in Malaysia at this time on the initiative of DSA and NATSEC Asia 2024 in collaboration with the Ministry of Defense is something very annoying and an insult to the struggle of the Palestinian people and the support of Malaysians against the genocide that is being carried out in Gaza.

"It is true that they have been present in previous events. But the situation this time is very unusual and the Zionist genocide against Palestine is so cruel and without the slightest bit of humanity," he added.

Dr Mahathir said, allowing such companies to mock and make fun of all the country's efforts against the brutality of the Tel Aviv regime seems to be conspiring with them to shed the blood of Palestinians, including babies and children.

He added that the proposed deportation also applies to other companies that supply weapons to the Zionist regime.

"They need to know that there is no place in Malaysia for any party that supports or conspires with Israel to commit genocide on the Palestinians," he added.
