Following is BEST FBKL's selection of The Top Ramadan 2024 Buka Puasa Buffet's in Kuala Lumpur and the Klang Valley.
We hope that you will visit our selection of the tops spots during the last week of Ramadan, we are confident you will agree with our selection.
Over the first three weeks of Ramadan we had 8 reviewers who have been going around to the shortlisted hotels and independent restaurants to try out their buka puasa buffet.
As in the past years, the selection of The Top Ramadan 2024 Buffet's was based on the following criteria:
a) Food - Overall Taste, Quality and Freshness of the buffet spread.
b) Drink's- Taste throughout the evening and Variety of drinks available.
c) Live Action Stations - Variety of Live Action Staions, Chef's Attitude & Service.
d) Desserts - Taste, Variety and Selection of Malay Kuih Available During Ramadan.
e) Types of Cuisines - The variety of Malay, Indian, Chinese. Western and Japanese dishes available.
f) Malay Cuisine - Taste of Traditional Malay Dishes and the Variety available.
g) Service - Efficiency of the staff in clearing the plates, etc and entertaining guest requests.
h) Ramadan Entertainment- Performance by the Singer & Band.
i). Ambiance & Comfort - The Ambiance of the venue and Comfort of diners.
(Some venues cramped the place with tables and chairs paying little attention to diners comfort!)
j) Overall Value - Was the Buffet Spread worth the Price paid for it.

We have separated our 5 choices in two categories:
3 in the below RM170.00 Category and
2 in the below RM250.00 Category.
As in previous years we did not take into account the buka puasa buffets that charged RM250 and above as we still thought it was ridiculous that some hotels were charging that much.

1. Royale Chulan Kuala Lumpur
The Royale Chulan Kuala Lumpur offers a buka puasa experience next to none, especially when they hold it at their Mahsuri Courtyard. The ambiance it provides is fantastic and ideal for selfie's!. They have huge tasty buffet that makes it impossible for diners to try everything in just one visit. To top it all off, durian lovers get to enjoy unlimited durians in a special area. Royale Chulan is well reputed for their tasty Malay cuisine. They were top in our listing for several years. The buffet spread at the The Royale Chulan KL and the ParkRoyal Collection is equally good in their own way, but the ambiance and entertainment factor wins it for Royale Chulan KL.

2. ParkRoyal Collection Hotel KL
The ParkRoyal Collection Santapan Nusantara buka puasa buffet is famous for it's seafood fare. They do offer a good variety of cuisines in their buka puasa buffet. Food is excellent here too just like in Royale Chulan KL. The Som Tum Kerabu Lobsters were simply amazing and not to be missed. The buffet has managed to attract many celebrities and has in fact gone viral on the social media.

1. Dewan Perdana Felda by Felda D'Saji:
Buka Puasa 2024 Ramadan Buffet at Dewan Perdana Feldal themed "DISHES FROM THE STATES IN MALAYSIA", A variety of cuisines from all states in Malaysia have been prepared by D'Saji! Although the price of the buffet is less than RM100.00, they serve more than 100 over delicious food and drinks. They have been having 800 to 900 diners every day but because of the huge hall space, it is still very comfortable. The reviewers have given D'Saji top marks this year especially for taste and variety of authentic Malay cuisine. (Not Me... but the reviewers!)

2. Wyndham Acmar Hotel, Klang.
With Wyndham Acmar Hotel Klang being the only 5 star in the area, it comes as no surprise they they have been been attracting the crowds almost every day. Their buka puasa buffet offers diners a good variety of food and drinks, Their fare is really tasty and the spread is actually quite huge, when you take into account the number of live stations they have. The Management here led by the General Manager Sheena Mak is very hands on and you can bet they will be present almost every night to greet their guest.

In this collaboration, enjoy Chef Dato Ismail's recipes and signature dishes at Dorsett Hotel Hartamas buka puasa boutique buffet, which serves traditional Malaysian cuisine that will surely captivates your taste buds. Chef Dato Ismail's restaurant Rebung is legendary for serving some of the best Malay cuisine in the city.
