KUALA LUMPUR, March 5 -- The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission’s (MCMC) headquarters and old building in Cyberjaya will be temporarily closed today and tomorrow.
MCMC in a statement today also announced that the apparatus assignment payment counter service at the MCMC headquarters has also been suspended temporarily from yesterday to Sunday, March 8.
The statement said the temporary closure and suspension were decided as a proactive measure following the spread of COVID-19 infection, thus reflected the MCMC's concern for public safety and health.
However, the public can still apply and make payment arrangements for apparatus assignment through the following channels:
a. Application for apparatus assignment:
i. Applications can be made online at https://espectra.mcmc.gov.my/; or
ii. For new applications, complete copies of the application form can be scanned and emailed to espectra.support@mcmc.gov.my

Meanwhile, the MCMC said that business is as usual for its other operations with its staff working from home.
