PETALING JAYA: Dr Mahathir Mohamad has resigned with immediate effect as chairman of his party PPBM, just hours after submitting his resignation letter as prime minister.
This also follows the announcement by PPBM president Muhyiddin Yasmin that the party had quit Pakatan Harapan.
