In what must have been One of TheTop 10 Book Launches of the Year: The Sultanah of Terengganu launched Datin Sharifah Shawati's Self Help Book on Women Empowerment - "Smart Women, Foolish Choices".

Smart Women, Foolish Choices

The book was launched at a  tea soiree at the Impiana Hotel Kuala Lumpur. The Dresscode for the evening was " A Touch of Songket". Many of the 200 over guest actually took the trouble to follow the dresscode.

The Book Launch Tea Soiree was a real soiree with some really good food (the Mee Siam, Roti Jala with Chicken Curry and Bread & Butter Pudding were really good!) and a fashion show.  Datin Shawati showcased her fashion line too at the Book Launch.

The classy event was sponsored by Air Asia's e-commerce marketplace OURSHOP.

The provocative title and many real life stories are bound to make many to get the book and make it a best seller.

ABOUT THE BOOK

Why do some smart women end up in bad relationships with the opposite sex?

We’re talking about successful women from the highest ranks of corporate organisations to business owners and lawyers—highly intelligent and well respected in their fields.

Why do they thrive in their careers but seem so luckless in love?

This book lays out why some strategies for boardroom achievements should be applied to obtain romantic and, hopefully, marital bliss thereafter.

If you’re planning to go the distance, it makes more sense to regard a relationship as a long-term partnership.

Real-life stories of failed relationships highlight the pitfalls of allowing yourself to be ruled by your heart instead of your head.

Ultimately, this book aims to educate, motivate and inspire women to become individuals of substance and help them manage their thoughts, emotions and behaviours

The book is available at all the MPH Stores and retailing for RM32.90
