88 detained in drug bust at family entertainment outlet

PETALING JAYA: Police arrested 88 people at a family entertainment outlet in Bandar Puchong for illegal drug use.
Serdang OCPD Asst Comm Ismadi Borhan said all the 88 people were gathered in a large room with loud music and was so high on drugs that they did not even realise the premises were being raided.
"We arrested four local men, 55 Indonesian men and 29 Indonesian women.
"Fifty-nine of them did not have any identification documents.
He added that the police found small amounts of ketamine and ecstacy pills at the premises.
"They tried to deceive law enforcement by using this family entertainment centre for their drug activities. Thankfully, we were able to bust them due to public information," he said.
