Cancer-stricken Elyana may become paralysed

SINGER and actor Elyana Emrizal, who is battling Stage 4 lymphoma cancer, may become paralysed, reported Harian Metro.
Her husband Khairul Anuar Hussin said the cancer had spread to Elyana’s spinal cord and backbone.
“Last week, Elyana complained that her legs felt numb and she could not walk.
“The doctor confirmed that the cancer had spread to her spinal cord and backbone,” he said.
Khairul added that the doctor advised Elyana to undergo radiotherapy immediately or she could become paralysed.
“She will undergo 10 radiotherapy sessions, which will be followed by chemotherapy,” he said.
Khairul also hoped Elyana’s fans would pray for her speedy recovery.
Elyana, 31, was one of the stars of the movie Dukun.

The couple were officially divorced at the Gombak Timur Syariah Lower Court on Wednesday.
The lafaz cerai (pronouncement of divorce) by Azfendy, 39, to Deja, 45, was made before Syariah Judge Noranizan Mohd Sufian on Wednesday.
Deja, whose real name is Sharifah Hadijah Wan Moss, later said she accepted the situation and was grateful that the divorce was handled amicably.
“I am now single and I hope everyone will pray for the best for me,” she said.
The couple, who tied the knot on Aug 30, 2008, have no children.
