Dr M and Siti Hasmah to host Raya do in Putrajaya again

KUALA LUMPUR: Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and wife Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali will be back to doing something they have been so familiar with – hosting the Hari Raya open house.
The Prime Minister will be holding the open house at his Seri Perdana official residence in Putrajaya tomorrow from 10am to 4.30pm.
After having stepped down as Prime Minister in 2003, Dr Mahathir continued with this tradition at his private residence at the Mines in Seri Kembangan.
Many are expected to take the opportunity to wish “Selamat Hari Raya” to Dr Mahathir and his wife, and also congratulate him over Pakatan Harapan’s May 9 general election victory.
Home Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin will hold his open house at the Pagoh Sports Complex in Johor between 9.30am and 1.30pm on Sunday, and at the Bukit Gambir multipurpose hall from 10am to 1pm on Monday.
The various mentris besar will also be holding open houses at various locations (see graphics). Dr Mahathir’s son, Datuk Seri Mukhriz, will host the Kedah Hari Raya open house at Dewan Seri Mentaloon on Sunday.
Former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak will hold his open house at his Sri Kenangan residence in Pekan from 10.30am tomorrow.
