PETALING JAYA: Several Members of Parliament whose names appear in the full "Cabinet" list that has gone viral are being coy as to the authenticity of the document.
Seputeh MP Teresa Kok, who was named Primary Industries Minister, said she was only aware of the list from social media.
When asked if the list was authentic, the DAP deputy secretary-general said that she could not confirm it.
"I can't make a statement as no official announcements have been made on the list," she said when met at a briefing for parliamentarians in Parliament on Tuesday (June 26).
An earlier Cabinet list that made its rounds on social earlier this month, had named Kok as Federal Territories Minister, which she had denied, saying it was fake.
However, she had expressed interest in a Cabinet post but left it to her party to decide on her appointment.
Another lawmaker mentioned in the list is Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Pribumi) Youth chief Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman who was named Youth and Sports Minister.
He said he was unable to comment on the list, saying "it was difficult for me to say anything".
Parti Amanah Negara secretary-general Annuar Tahir, who is Temerloh MP, also refused to confirm the list but said that those listed may have received a call from the Prime Minister.
"I had been named for several posts before this so I can't confirm if the list is true or not," he said when asked if he was aware that he was named as Public Works Deputy Minister.
Darell Leikeng, who was named as International Trade and Industry Minister, could not confirm the list as well.
"It is difficult for me to say anything but if the list is true, it is something good for Sabah and the Federation," he said, adding that his appointment would be a first for Sabahan.
Seremban MP Anthony Loke, who was appointed Transport Minister on May 21, viewed the list as authentic and said that it may have been leaked.
Loke, however, said nothing is official until it is announced by the Prime Minister.
Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail said to wait for the swearing-in ceremony.
"I have not looked at it properly, so I cannot say if it it's authentic. The King has already issued a statement that the swearing-in is on Monday (July 2), so you will have to wait and see," she said.
So far, 12 ministers have been named and 13 ministerial portfolios filled, with Dr Wan Azizah helming the Women, Family and Community Development Ministry as well.

Kuantan MP Fuziah Salleh said that she received a call from Dr Mahathir last week, offering her the Deputy Minister post in the Prime Minister's Department in charge of religion.
"I received a call from the Prime Minister who offered the post in charge of religion.

Hang Tuah Jaya MP Shamsul Iskandar Md Akin said he received the call from Dr Mahathir on the fourth day of Hari Raya (June 19) offering him the post of Primary Industries Deputy Minister.
"I was offered the post of deputy minister in charge of primary industries," he said.
Although yet to be made official, he noted that Dr Mahathir had given him some tips on how to run the ministry, particularly in following up discussions with Alibaba Group founder and executive chairman Jack Ma, whom he had met on June 18.

The PKR vice-president was named Water, Land and Natural Resources Minister.
Selangau MP Baru Bian remained tight-lipped over his purported appointment as Public Works Minister, but said it would be an apt post.
"If the appointment is official, it would be the post in which Sarawak has been hoping for," he said.
He said the post was apt, as it would allow for better infrastructure development in Sarawak and Sabah, which has been lagging behind.
Pokok Sena MP Datuk Mahfuz Omar when asked if he received a call from Dr Mahathir, merely smiled and said that he was in contact with the Prime Minister on a regular basis.
Dr Mahathir confirmed on Monday (June 25) that all names of the full Cabinet line-up have been finalised.

A LIST of 28 ministers and 24 deputy ministers for the Mahathir government has been confirmed as true, with Sabah and Sarawak politicians heading several key posts.
Among the notable appointments are Darell Leiking as international trade and industry minister, Saifuddin Abdullah as foreign minister, Khalid Samad as federal territories minister, Mujahid Yusof as Islamic affairs minister, Teresa Kok as primary industries minister and Syed Saddiq Abdul Rahman as the youth and sports minister.
Many of them are now at a Parliament briefing for new MPs, and have stopped short of confirming the list, although Amanah's Khalid said he had been informed. His party is among the four component parties of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) that won the May 9 polls.
“Yes I did get a call, but it is still subject to change,” he said, smiling while declining to confirm his position.
A highly placed source said the list, now going viral, is final, and the new ministers will join their fellow PH colleagues in taking their oath of office on July 2.
The names on the cabinet tally with a list published by The Malaysian Insight on June 13, but the ministers’ portfolios have been changed since then due to party requests.
However, Hindraf will not sit in the cabinet as earlier speculated.
DAP's Yeo Bee Yin is the new energy, technology, and environment minister.
The other PKR representatives in the cabinet include its Sarawak chief, Baru Bian, as Works Minister; vice-president Xavier Jayakumar (Water, Land, and Natural Resources); secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution (Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs);
PH’s Sabah ally, Parti Warisan Sabah, will also be represented by its Batu Sapi MP, V.K. Liew (Law) and Silam MP Mohamaddin Ketapi (Tourism), apart from Darell in the International Trade and Industry Ministry.
Bersatu’s Alor Gajah MP Mohd Redzuan Yusof will helm the revived Public Enterprises ministry.
The 24 deputy ministers who have been picked for the various ministries, including one senator, are as follows:
Amiruddin Hamzah, a Bersatu MP from Kedah, is deputy finance minister.
Other Bersatu deputy ministers are Tanjung Piai MP Md Farid Md Rafik (Prime Minister’s Department, national unity and social wellbeing), Kuala Pilah MP Eddin Syazlee Shith (communications and multimedia), and Sri Gading MP Shahruddin Md Salleh (federal territories).
Azis Jamman, a Sabah Warisan MP, is deputy home minister. His party colleague Isnaraissah Munirah Majilis gets the energy, technology, science, climate change, and environment deputy minister post.
DAP Segambut MP Hannah Yeoh is deputy minister of the Women, Family, and Community Development Ministry, while her party colleague Kulai MP Teo Nie Ching will be deputy education minister.
The party’s Bangi MP Ong Kian Ming is set to be deputy minister for international trade and industries, while his colleague, Sarawak chief Chong Chieng Jen, will take on the role of deputy domestic trade and consumers affairs minister.
Other DAP deputy ministers are Raub MP Tengku Zulpuri Shah Raja Puji (water, land and natural resources) and Bukit Mertajam MP Steven Sim Chee Keong (youth and sports).
From Amanah, the deputy ministers are Lumut MP Mohd Hatta Ramli (public enterprises), Temerloh MP Annuar Tahir (works), Pokok Sena Mahfuz Omar (human resource), Sepang MP Mohamed Hanipa Maidin (Prime Minister’s Department, law), and Senator Ahmad Termizi Ramli (housing and local government).
From PKR, the deputy ministers are Gopeng MP Dr Lee Boon Chye (health), Kuantan MP Fuziah Salleh (Prime Minister’s Department, Islamic affairs), Sim Tze Tzin (agriculture), Bandar Tun Razak MP Kamaruddin Jaffar (transport), Hang Tuah Jaya MP Shamsul Iskandar Md Akin (primary industries), Sungai Buloh MP R.
