BINTULU: Three people including two siblings were killed in a Toyota Vios-lorry collision at 114km Jalan Sibu-Bintulu at 2.07pm, Wednesday.
Tatau Fire and Rescue Station chief Azrel Izaidi Ahmad said the car driver Ferrinow Kadri, 32, his brother, Anthony, 25, and Nauyah Pusih, 64, died at the spot while the 46-year-old lorry driver was not hurt.
"The Vios sedan vehicle was heading to Sibu from Bintulu while the 10-tonne lorry was heading in the other direction," he said when contacted by Bernama.
He said the relationship of Nauyah and the two siblings has yet to be determined as no next-of-kin had stepped forward yet after the incident.
He said nine firemen, including volunteers, helped extricate the victims from the wreckage during the operation, which ended at 5pm. - Bernama
