KUALA LUMPUR: Two Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) Airbus A-400M transport aircraft have been flown to Al Maza Air Base, Egypt to bring injured Palestinians to Malaysia for treatment.

Defense Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin confirmed the matter when contacted by Bernama and said all details regarding the mission would be communicated this week.

"Yes. Asked to wait until this Friday, details will be communicated," he said simply.




On August 4, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim expressed his desire to bring injured Palestinians to Malaysia to receive treatment.

He said this while delivering a speech at the highlight of the Palestine Liberation Rally at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil here.
