Paris 2024 Olympics: Zii Jia scores second medal for Malaysia
National men's singles champion Lee Zii Jia won his country's second medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics after defeating India's Lakshya Sen at the Porte de La Chapelle Arena tonight.
Zii Jia, ranked seventh in the world, won the bronze medal after defeating the world number 14 player with a score of 13-21, 21-16, 21-11.
The start of the match saw Zii Jia collapse in the first set, but managed to bounce back after losing a few points, to defeat Sen in the second set.
The former All England champion continued his fierce momentum in the deciding set when he crushed his opponent in the set, thus confirming the victory for Malaysia.
