4 men were arrested for fighting, shooting at the entertainment center

KUALA LUMPUR: Police arrested four men suspected of being involved in a fight at an entertainment center in Jalan Metro Pudu here early Saturday morning.
Kuala Lumpur Police Chief, Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa said, in the incident at 3.45 in the morning, a group of local men armed with pistols and machetes reportedly fought and also fired shots.
"The police rushed to the scene of the incident upon receiving information that they found three bullet casings and two live bullets at the scene of the incident," he said in a statement on Saturday.
Rusdi said that as a result of the fight, four men aged between 29 and 40 years old are believed to have suffered injuries due to sharp weapons and have sought treatment at Kuala Lumpur Hospital and Ampang Hospital.
"All the victims were later allowed to leave the hospital before the police arrested them to help with the investigation," he said.
Rusdi said that all the suspects will be remanded this morning (Sunday) for further investigation and the case will be investigated in accordance with Section 148 of the Penal Code and Section 39 of the Firearms Act 1960.
"Currently, we are investigating whether the fight that took place has anything to do with a secret society group, in addition to trying to trace the pistols and sharp weapons that were used," he said.
Rusdi said that his side strongly warned the public not to get involved in any activities that violate the law.
