Sidang media Ketua Polis Johor berhubung penahanan 'Long Tiger'

 






 


 Long Tiger or his real name, Abdul Hamim Ab. Hamid, who was apprehended by the police in Sungai Petani, Kedah yesterday afternoon, was taken to the Tangkak Magistrate's Court this morning.

The 32 -year -old Rohingya man was brought to court along with three other 36 -year -old men; 38, and 46 years old are believed to be involved in providing protection to the Long Tiger.

The four of them, including a man with a female character who was caught with Long Tiger in Sungai Petani as well as in Yong Peng, Batu Pahat, are now remanded for four days starting today until January 1

A remand order against Long Tiger was issued by Magistrate Analia Kamaruddin for investigation under Section 223/224 of the Penal Code, while the other three individuals involved are being investigated under Section 216 of the same code.

Yesterday, the most wanted criminal in the police hunt was arrested while hiding in a house in Sungai Petani.
