National men's singles champion Lee Zii Jia advanced to the semi -finals of the BWF World Tour Finals in style when he emerged Group B champion.
The second seed of the tournament ended the group stage with the third victory in a row after beating the Indian player, K Srikanth 21-19, 21-14 at the Bali International Convention Center, Indonesia, just now.
In the previous two group matches, Zii Jia also won over Thailand's Kunlavut Vitidsarn and Toma Junior Popov of France.
The success at once improved on his performance in his first appearance in the 2020 edition which saw him fail to get past the group stage competition when he lost all three matches.
The semi -final draw is scheduled to take place after the end of all group stage matches tonight.
