KUALA LUMPUR: The National Chamber of Commerce and Industry Malaysia (NCCIM) has appointed Datuk Low Kian Chuan as its president, effective Monday, in succession of Tan Sri Ter Leong Yap.

Low is also president of the Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM), NCCIM said in a statement here, today.

NCCIM is a federation of five national trade organisations, namely the Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia, Malay Chamber of Commerce Malaysia, Malaysian Associated Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers.
