Five state assemblymen sworn in as Perak exco members

KUALA KANGSAR, Dec 10 -- Five state assemblymen took their oath of office as Perak state executive council (exco) members today before the Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Shah at Istana Iskandariah here.
Four of the assemblymen were exco members from the previous administration, namely Datuk Zolkafly Harun (BN-Lintang); Datuk Shahrul Zaman Yahya (BN-Rungkup); Datuk Dr Wan Norashikin Wan Noordin (BN-Kampung Gajah) and Khairul Shahril Mohamed (BN-Bota).
Another assemblyman was Datuk Zainol Fadzi Paharudin (Bersatu-Sungai Manik).
The appointment of the five assemblymen was approved by Sultan Nazrin after their names were presented to the Ruler by Menteri Besar Datuk Saarani Mohamad.
Zainol Fadzi was the first to take his oath of office, followed by Zolkafly, Shahrul Zaman, Dr Wan Norashikin and Khairul Shahril.
All of them then signed the official instrument of appointment witnessed by Ipoh High Court Chief Judge Datuk Hisham Hashim.
