Listen to over 8000 Radio Stations on Mobile or On your PC / Notebook @ Radio Garden, just by moving the Globe

Radio.Garden, was designed by the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision, and Amsterdam’s Studio Puckey. Radio.Garden depends on its radio partners to stream their radio channels and does not use the ISRO satellites. There are more than 8000 radio stations who have enlisted as of 2018 and expected to be increasing.

Radio Garden allows you to listen to thousands of live radio stations world wide by rotating the globe. Every green dot represents a city or town. Tap on it to tune into the radio stations broadcasting from that city.

The station broadcasts through the internet instead of broadcasting through radio waves. ... Radio Garden is funded with public money from the Netherlands Institute of Sound and Vision; there is no commercial aspect to the project right now. Listening to big radio stations is passe.

It gained popularity in 2016 when it surpassed the 8,000 registered station mark and, as announced at The Radio Conference 2016: Transnational Encounters, went viral.
