PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Azmin Ali has expressed his gratitude to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah for granting him an audience at Istana Negara.
The Economic Affairs Minister tweeted on Monday (June 17) that he would always adhere to the advice and guidance of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
However, his subsequent tweets did not reveal what was discussed during their meeting.
Azmin, who is also PKR deputy president, went on to tweet about Sultan Abdullah's recent special visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which he said gives impetus to the enhancing of bilateral relations and economic cooperation between Malaysia and the UAE.
According to the Gombak MP, the Economic Affairs Ministry would seize opportunities presented by the Sultan Abdullah's special visit there.
"Bilateral economic relations between Malaysia and UAE will be enhanced across various sectors for value-added economic collaboration," he added.
In the past week, clips of a sex video involving two men have gone viral, followed by a confession by Haziq Abdullah
Abdul Aziz, who is also Santubong PKR Youth Chief, that he was one of the two men in the video.
He also claimed that the other person was Azmin.
The Economic Affairs Minister has categorically denied the allegation, saying it was made to tarnish his reputation and destroy his political career.
