Couple and 13-year-old daughter arrested for abusing two children

PETALING JAYA: A couple and their 13-year-old daughter were arrested for abusing two young children who were living with them.
Police who rescued the two victims – an eight-year-old boy and a seven-year-old girl – said the two were malnourished and showed signs of abuse all over their bodies.
Serdang OCPD Asst Comm Ismadi Borhan said police rushed over to the couple's house in Puchong around 1pm on Saturday after being tipped off by the public.
"We arrested a man, 33; his wife, 30; and their daughter, 13, who are related to the victims.
He said police seized a baton, a rubber hose and a silver fork, which is believed to have been used to abuse the children.
"Both victims were rushed to Hospital Serdang for treatment," he said.
