In the four years of reviewing the Ramadan Buka Puasa fare here, there's is no better time to come together at Hilton Kuala Lumpur for a truly tasty treat as the management and chefs have got it right this year with some amazing dishes.
Visually the dishes were so good that you are bound to take everything you see, please control yourself here and take what you can eat,.....unlike yours truly.....

As you walk in you will be greeted with some amazing smells, I came in early and i was just overwhelmed by the smells of all the awesome food.
The great thing about the buffet here is there was a good flow to all the stations
ROAST LAMB, BRIYANI AND AYAM PERCIK
You have to taste the succulent roast lamb and ayam percik with the briyani.

ROYAL DISHES
Use the briyani rice as the base and try the royal dishes and you will create an explosion with every mouthful. Some of the dishes included Gulai Daging Rusa Istana Alam Shah, Siput Sedut Masak Lemak Istana Iskandariah, Udang Harimau Masak Merah Istana Bukit Serene, Ikan Mayong Asam Pedas Dengan Bendi Istana Melaka, Daging Masak Kerutup Dengan Kerisik Istana Balai Besar

SEAFOOD SECTION
It was no surprise that the seafood section was another crowd favourite with some really fresh stuff. Two of the reviewers really put away quite a number of oysters, mussels, prawns and mini lobster like thingy's, i can't remember whats it called now......
SATAY
They had a Choice of Beef or Chicken Satay with Tangy Peanut Sauce, Ketupat. Lemang Pulut and many more.
FRIED & INDIAN SECTION
My favourite section was the Indian Section, seriously its a sight to behold! The Ikan Goreng Berempah, mini ketam, burung puyuh goreng and tandoori chicken were tasty and made to perfection. Try the soft shell crabs while its hot. The Indian curries and Murtabak were super tasty. they had some vegetarian dishes here too.

SOUP AND NOODLE SECTION
Our reviewers favourite was the pumpkin soup. They also had Soup Berempah Laksamana Melaka with Lidah and Tulang Rusuk
CHINESE SECTION
The Prawn Noodles section seem to be another crowd favourite with various types of Dim Sum.
SALADS AND TRADITIONAL ULAM-ULAMAN
For those who like their Salads they had an extensive Salad Bar. They had some traditional Ulam-Ulaman too
ITALIAN SECTION
The Italian Section offered guest some variety with two types of pasta.
THE MALAY TRADITIONAL KUIH
This section really brought back some nice childhood memories with one of the best variety of traditional malay kuih.
FRUITS, DESSERTS AND DRINKS
The fruits, desserts and drinks section was off course one of the most sought section, I had no less than 6 glasses of Longan. I even "stole" the glass of the other reviewers. They had enough desserts to keep you happy. Here Ice Cream come on a stick like the kampung days. They had cempedak ice cream
DID YOU KNOW THERE IS NO ENGLISH NAME FOR CEMPEDAK, IF ANYONE KNOWS WHATS THE ENGLISH NAME FOR CEMPEDAK DO MESSAGE ME! Cempedak and Nangka is translated as being Jackfruit. We all know both are not the same.
