Seremban: It was a full house at the Seremban Sessions Court this morning as five suspects were brought to the court for the alleged gang rape and sodomy of two 15-year-old girls in Kuala Pilah last month.

Family members of the suspects were at the gallery as early as 8am and were seen wiping their tears as soon as the suspects, who were clad in prison attire, were brought in to face the charges before Judge Junaidah Mohd Isa.

Ameer Nashraf Arizan, 21 and Mohd Nordin Yaacob, 22, face two charges, while Muhamad Ariff Jamaludin, 18, and two boys aged 17 and 16 faced one charge each.

All of the accused pleaded not guilty and claimed trial.

Ameer, Nordin and Arif are charged with raping a 15-year-old girl in a house in Kuala Pilah between 11.40pm on April 30 and 4.15am on May 1.

They are charged under Section 376 (1) of the Penal Code and face a jail term of up to 20 years and whipping, upon conviction.

Nordin and the 17-year-old are charged with committing carnal intercourse against the order of nature with the same victim at the same location at 11pm and 11.20pm on April 30.

For the offences, both are charged under Section 377C of the Penal Code and face a jail term of not less than five years and not more than 20 years and whipping, upon conviction.

The 16-year-old allegedly committed sexual assault against a 15-year-old girl at the same location at 11.50pm on April 30.

If convicted, he faces imprisonment of up to 20 years and whipping under Section 14 (a) of the Child Abuse Act of 2017.

Deputy public prosecutor Norshazwani Ishak prosecuted. All of the accused were represented by P. Jayaprakash.

Junaidah allowed a bail of RM14,000 for Nordin.

Bail was set at RM7,000 each for Ameer, Ariff and the 17-year-old.

A RM6,000 bail was set for the 16-year-old.

The suspects were ordered to report to the Kuala Pilah police station every month.

They were not allowed to communicate and be in contact with the victims.

The court set June 17 for re-mention of the case.
