Wan Azizah: Full Cabinet list to be announced by end of this week

PUTRAJAYA: The announcement of the full Cabinet line-up could take place at the end of this week, said Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail (pic) on Monday (June 18).

"I asked the Prime Minister this question (today) and he said it (new Cabinet announcement) will take some time. Most probably it will be by the end of this week," the Deputy Prime Minister told reporters when asked about the matter.

While the first 14-member Cabinet was announced on May 18, the new Pakatan Harapan government has yet to unveil the remaining members of the cabinet, which is expected to be made up of at least 25 members.

Dr Wan Azizah said the shortlisting of Cabinet members and the announcement of the new list would be made by Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
