PETALING JAYA: Graft busters have arrested two high-ranking police officers from the anti-vice team and seized around RM1mil in cash from several locations.

The officers, with the ranks of Assistant Commissioner (ACP) and Assistant Superintendent (ASP), are attached to the Special Task Force for Anti-Vice, Gambling and Gangsterism (STAGG).

They were picked up by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) at a car workshop in Sunway on Thursday (May 31) afternoon, together with a civilian.

The MACC team then brought the ACP to a condominium unit which serves as a safe house and discovered stacks of cash estimated to be between RM400,000 and RM700,000.
