Jamal shared a picture of himself when he was temporarily bedridden in the latest video.

PETALING JAYA: Four new videos of the infamous Sg Besar Umno division chief Datuk Seri Jamal Yunos have emerged, with the "missing" politician taking a noticeably more subdued tone.

In the videos, which show him standing in front of the same palm oil plantation from previous clips, Jamal repeats his claims of innocence over the photo that led to his last arrest, as well as claims of an unseen hand driving the investigations on him.

"I believe that certain hands are making it so the laws are unfair to me," said Jamal in one of the two videos.

Commenting on the photo that pictured him with a firearm, Jamal claimed that it had been edited.

"I have seen the photos myself and its fake. That is not me.

"It has been edited," said Jamal.

He also repeated his stance that he did not escape from police custody and had merely left the hospital after serving his remand stint there.

Jamal claimed that among the illnesses that left him temporarily bedridden then included stomach problems as well as issues with his back and heart.

"I still support the laws of Malaysia and I hope that certain parties do not abuse the law for their own benefit," he said.

Jamal has been charged with committing several offences, including creating public nuisance by breaking bottles of alcoholic drinks at the Selangor state secretariat building on Oct 5 last year to protest the Better Beer Festival.

He also expressed his sadness over reports stating that action might be taken against the policemen who were tasked with remanding him.

"They left the hospital room after their duties were over because the remand was over. That's why they left the hospital. It wasn't because they were not negligent.

"They were just doing their duties. It is not fair," he said.

On Tuesday, Home Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin said that he was puzzled as to how Jamal had escaped police custody.

"I have spoken to the Inspector-General of Police and should any disciplinary action be taken against the police personnel involved who were negligent in their duties, I will leave the matter to him," he said.
