Duterte, Inday Sara quarrel over sacking of TF Davao commander

Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte on Thursday revealed that she had a quarrel with her father, President Rodrigo Duterte, after she had the commander of Task Force Davao replaced after Davao City night market explosion killed 14 and injured over 70 others.
Saleema Refran's report on "24 Oras" said the President, the city mayor for more than 20 years, didn't approve of Colonel Henry Robinson's replacement by Colonel Erwin Neri as task force commander.
The Davao City police chief Senior Superintendent Michael John Dubria was also reportedly on the way out following the apparent terrorist attack.
"Here comes Digong, nagbubunganga na naman. Nag-text din siya, maraming sinasabi... and then I answered him," Sara said in a speech during the turnover ceremonies of the military task force.
Sara said Duterte would not even talk to her directly but only through presidential aide Christopher "Bong" Go.
"Pinasa niya ang text kay Bong Go. Sabi ko, 'Bong kayo pa ba ang mayor o ako na?' Kasi willing akong pabayaan kayo as in right at this very moment," Sara said.
"I'm very willing to resign. I think it was 6 a.m., Saturday morning. Nag-give way. Tumahimik... tapos kumanta siya, 'How can I live without you?'" she added.
Sara said she had yet to personally tell her father the bad news that she had lost two of her unborn triplets. —NB, GMA News
