PETALING JAYA: A soldier, who was on duty at the recent G20 Summit in China, has been hailed as the “most beautiful bodyguard” on China’s social media.

As world leaders convened in Hangzhou on Sunday to discuss important international issues, the ‘real star of the show’ turned out to be a female bodyguard who caught the fancy of many Netizens.

According to the People’s Daily Online, the bodyguard was identified as Shu Xin from the city of Guiyang in the Guizhou province of southwest China.

Shu shot to Internet fame when a picture of her on duty at the summit was released by Xinhua News Agency in an article titled ‘Who is the most powerful bodyguard for leaders at G20’.



Netizens were quick to trawl web archives of old photos of Shu, which subsequently went viral, and it was even discovered that she had been named as one of the 10 most beautiful People’s Liberation Army soldiers.
