CCTV Camera Captures A Murder Taking Place At Petrol Station
Closed circuit television cameras (CCTV) at a petrol pump in Gurgaon captured a murder that took place earlier this week.
The CCTV footage shows four man brazenly confront a lone unarmed man and proceed to assasinate him in cold blood in the Gurgaon district of the state of Haryana, India, local news daily.bhaskar.com reports.
The four individuals are shown entering the petrol station on two bikes before slowing down. Only one of them is wearing a helmet that obstructs the view of his face. Within seconds, his pillion rider gets off and pulls out a gun.
The gun man chases the victim - who is wearing a blue jacket -- along with two others and shoots the man down. Several rounds are heard fired. Another man is seen in the footage carrying a rifle.
Although the faces of the assailants can be clearly seen on the recording, police have yet to arrest any suspects.
The incident occurred at around 10:30 pm on November 11. The victim has been identified as one Raju, 32. According to media reports, he had visited Gurgaon that fateful night to deliver a Deepavali gift.
Police have put forward a theory that the murder is related to gang war or personal rivalry. The suspects had disappeared from the crime scene immediately after the shooting.
