KUALA LUMPUR: Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia chief executive officer Tetsuya Oda (pic) was killed in a road accident while jogging at Sri Hartamas here.
Oda, 49, was crossing a one-way road while heading towards towards Galleria Hartamas when he was hit by a one-tonne lorry at 6.50am on Thursday.
Kuala Lumpur Staff Officer for Traffic Investigation and Regulation Deputy Supt Markandan Subramaniam said that Oda did not notice the oncoming lorry at the time.
Oda was sent to the University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) where he was declared dead at 9.35am.
