KUALA LUMPUR: An unemployed man claimed trial to two counts of molesting a 12-year-old girl and robbing the girl of her handphone and RM6 cash.
Nik Mohd Zamrie pleaded not guilty on Wednesday to forcing the victim to perform oral sex on him, which caused fear to the girl at a surau in Taman Mulia Jaya at about 12pm on Dec 3.
The accused was charged under Section 377C of the penal code.
Nik Mohd Zamrie faces a second charge of robbing the girl by showing the object which resembled an imitation pistol causing the victim to hand over her handphone and the cash.
He was allegedly committed the offence at the same time and place and was accused under Section 392/397 of the same act.
Deputy public prosecutor Noor Fazlin Ab Zawawi did not offer bail.
Sessions Court judge Suraya later fixed Jan 27 for mention.
