A man from Lenggong, Perak, sprayed his girlfriend’s chest and private parts with red paint after accusing her of having another lover, reported Sinar Harian.
The daily said the suspect brought his girlfriend from her home to a nearby rubber plantation before accusing her of the affair even though they already had plans to tie the knot.
As the argument escalated, the man ripped off the victim’s clothes, and proceeded to grope her before spraying red paint on her.
After doing this, the suspect sent his girlfriend back to her home. The victim lodged a police report the same night.
It was reported that the couple from Kampung Ulu Lenggong, both 22, had been together for a year.
Police arrested the suspect at about 1am the next day. He will be remanded until Sunday for investigations. The victim’s clothes and a can of red paint were also recovered from the scene of the incident.

Yusainiamin Mohamad Yusof forcibly kissed the 29-year-old woman in her house in Taman Bandar Baru, Kampar.
He was charged under Section 354 of the Penal Code for outraging modesty, which carries a jail term of up to 10 years and a fine or whipping upon conviction.
In reading out the judgment, Judicial Commissioner Noorin Badaruddin said the heavy sentence was to send a message that the act was a serious offence.
The court allowed a stay of execution, while maintaining the RM7,000 bail which the accused had posted earlier.
