KUALA LUMPUR: A Malaysian man and Hong Kong national are in critical condition after they were allegedly slashed by two Africans at a hotel here.
Wangsa Maju acting OCPD Deputy Supt A. Asmadi Abdul Aziz said police were alerted about the case around 9pm Thursday.
"We are on the hunt for two African men believed to be part of a robbery syndicate here.
"We believe the two men lure victims under the pretence of a business dealing, before robbing them," he said Friday.
He added that the two victims have been identified as Malaysian, Chin Kha Foo, 40, and David Chi Keung, 34, from Hong Kong.
He said both victims were being treated at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital.
