Najib arrives in Turkmenistan on official visit

ASHGABAT: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has arrived here for his official visit on the invitation of Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
Najib, who is on his second visit here, was received by Turkmenistan Chief of State Protocol Muhamed Dururddyew Serdar and Vice-Premier of Oil and GasKhoddjjqqmuhammedow Buuymurad, who was also the minister-in-attendance at the airport.
Also present were the Malaysian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Norman Muhamad, Tourism and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Nazri Abdul Aziz, Foreign Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Anifah Aman and Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Abdul Wahid Omar.
Najib last made an official visit to Turkmenistan in July 2011, while President Berdimuhamedov made a visit to Malaysia in December 2011.
