Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza managed to mesmerize more than 10,000 spectators through her solo concert which took place at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil, here, last night.
Siti Nurhaliza's Sebuah Epitome Saya concert featured the journey of her artistic career throughout her 28 years in the country's music industry.
Siti or real name Siti Nurhaliza Tarudin, 45, also entertained her loyal fans through a series of 36 hit songs including a medley in a three-hour concert that started at 8.30pm that night.
Among the hits that were delivered through the four segments were Bukan Cinta Biasa, Percayalah, Biarlah Rahsia, Purnama Merindu, Cindai, Menjaga Cintamu, Usah Diragui and many more.
Siti also managed to entertain loyal fans with her solid vocals and energetic performance accompanied by a line-up of musicians led by Aubrey Suwito that night.
The appearance of the popular singer from Indonesia, Judika as a guest artist enlivened the concert.
He performed a duet with Siti with Dirgahayu and Seluruh Cinta, Judika also entertained the audience solo on stage.
She even had a Karaoke segment where the whole stadium sang with her. Lyrics of all her songs were played on the screen for fans to sing along.
The concert was organized by Yayasan Nurjiwa, a charity organization she founded with her husband, Datuk Seri Khalid Mohamad Jiwa, to help the Palestinian people. Part of the proceeds from the concert ticket sales will be channeled to the Afwa Al-Afiyah School in Gaza, Palestine which has a total of 100 students and 10 teachers and was established as a foundation four years ago.
Apart from local fans, this concert was attended by supporters from Singapore, Indonesia and Brunei and even Portugal.
Among the artists present to support Siti's concert were singers Jaclyn Victor, Aisha Retno, Hael Husaini, Ernie Zakri and composer Hafiz Hamidun.
Among the VVIP Guest who attended were the Chief Minister of Melaka YAB Datuk Seri Utama Ab Rauf Yusoh, Communications Minister YB Ahmad Fahmi Mohamed Fadzil, Ministry of Tourism Secretary General Dato' Roslan Tan Sri Abdul Rahman. Secretary General and Karyawan President - Datuk Freddie Fernandez.
The sold-out concert lasted for a little more than three hours.
