After almost 20 years, the British rock group, Coldplay finally managed to break the record of the Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza for biggest concert attendance by recording 75,000 fans at Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil.
Through a tweet made by the X social site, Pop Crave, it was understood that the 2004 record held by Datuk Siti Nurhaliza with the presence of more than 70,000 spectators was finally broken by Coldplay.
Other notable performances at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium include A.R. Rahman’s ‘Secret of Success’ concert in 2023, attracting 67,000 fans, and BLACKPINK’s ‘Born Pink Tour’ the same year, drawing 62,000 attendees.
Other top-ranked concerts include Jacky Cheung’s 2002 concert with 50,000 fans and Muse’s ‘Will of the People’ performance in 2023, also drawing 50,000.
