Covid-19 Malaysia: 25,854 New Cases Recorded on March 1 with 78 Deaths (34 BID)

 

KKM reported 25,854 new cases, comprising 25,406 local & 448 imported cases and 78 Covid-19 deaths with 34 Brought in Dead cases

The total number of Covid-19 cases recorded stands at 3,468,590. The total deaths now at 32,827.

Johor recorded the most deaths with 21. This was followed by Kedah (15), Selangor (13), Perak (9), Sabah (6), Penang (5), Kelantan, Melaka and Terengganu (2 each), Negeri Sembilan, Pahang and Kuala Lumpur (1 each).

There were 293,651 active cases, with 7,542 hospitalised, 374 were in intensive care units (ICU), 213 require respiratory assistance.
