15 men armed with baseball bats rob computer store in Cheras

Two video recordings of the robbery went viral on social media over the weekend.
KAJANG: Fifteen men armed with baseball bats robbed a computer store in Bandar Damai Perdana in Cheras, getting away with equipment worth RM70,000.
The robbery happened on Friday and was reported to the police by the store security guard the next day.
Two video recordings of the robbery have gone viral on social media.
According to Kajang district police chief Zaid Hassan, the security guard on duty was assaulted with baseball bats.
“The suspects broke into the premises on the first floor and got away with computer equipment.
“The guard’s car was damaged when he tried to stop them from fleeing.
“Efforts to track down the suspects are ongoing,” he said in a statement released today.
Zaid said the suspects came to the premises in four vehicles.
