PICK will start vaccinating teenagers aged 12 to 17 - Khairy
The National Covid-19 Immunization Program (PICK) will begin the vaccination process for teenagers aged 12 to 17, said its Coordinating Minister Khairy Jamaluddin.
He said PICK would start vaccination according to priority, namely teenagers (12 to 17 years old) with chronic diseases, followed by individual teenagers (12 to 17 years old) without medical problems and based on aging.
Khairy said this method was implemented in accordance with the recommendation of Director-General of Health Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah to the Special Committee on Access to Assurance of Covid-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV).
"The announcement will be made next week by @JKJAV about how vaccinations Covid-19 for youth will be held in parallel with the circular @DGHisham and the latest clinical guidelines," Khairy said in a Twitter message.
