The price of RON97 will drop by 11 sen to RM2.56 per litre after rising for the last four weeks.

PETALING JAYA: The price of RON97 petrol will drop by 11 sen at midnight.

RON97 will sell at RM2.56 per litre until Aug 2 instead of RM2.67.

The price of RON97 had risen in the last four weeks.

Meanwhile, the price of RON95 and diesel remain unchanged, the finance ministry said.




The price of RON95 remains at RM2.08 per litre, and diesel at RM2.18 per litre.

The government has been subsidising fuel prices to alleviate the cost of living of the people and to stabilise prices, the ministry said.

It will spend RM90.48 million in subsidies to rein in the price of fuel for this coming seven-day period.
