KUANTAN (Bernama): The Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) was called in Friday (March 29) morning to capture a 180kg python seen slithering across a major road here, but its members did not have an easy time capturing it.


"APM took a long time – four hours – using a snare and tongs to catch the aggressive snake," said Kuantan APM officer Muhammad Ikram Harun.

The snake has now been released into its habitat and away from human habitation. – Bernama
