JB hospital fire: Bomba returns cash found in ICU

JOHOR BARU: The Fire and Rescue Department has returned RM2,760 in cash found in Sultanah Aminah Hospital's fire-damaged intensive care unit (ICU).

The cash was found by firemen in a table drawer after extinguishing the fire at the ICU ward on Tuesday.

Johor Baru fire station chief Ibrahim Omar handed over the amount to HSA management representative Dr Tan Cheng Cheng at around 5.45pm the same day.

The fire on Tuesday shocked the entire nation after six patients died in the fire at the ICU ward located at the south wing of the hospital's main building on Oct 25.
