Gollfers at a Florida golf course were shocked when they saw a giant "monster" gator roaming across the fairway, according to WFTS.
Charles Helms filmed the gargantuan gator on Wednesday at Buffalo Creek Golf Course in Palmetto then promptly shared the video with his Facebook friends. From there, it went viral.
Helms and his friend David Matos couldn't believe their eyes and even wondered out loud if it was "two guys in an alligator suit." Commenters online had their reservations about the authenticity of the alligator as well, but pro shop clerk Wendy Schofield told News 3that the colossal animal has been lurking on the links for years.
Estimates put the creature at 15 to 16 feet long. While its size may be menacing, the gator has never bothered any of the golfers.
