THE PEARL OF THE ORIENT COMES TO THE WESTIN KL (JUNE 6, 2013)

The  "Penang - Taste of Malaysia" Dinner Buffet promotion will be held this coming June 6, 2013, 7.30 pm at the Westin Kuala Lumpur.

This is a continuation of the hotels "Taste of Malaysia" promotion held at the restaurant every Thursdays till November 2013. This is expected to be a 5 Star event judging from the fare that the hotel has put on for the other states so far since the start of the promotion in early April 2013

The Chef of the Malay kitchen at TWKL, Chef Hamdan whose culinary expertise is in Malay & Indonesian cuisine, teams up with local Celebrity Chef Dato Ismail  to come  up with this exciting dining experience that aims to give diners a taste of the different cuisines in Malaysia, on a State by State basis. Chef Dato Ismail will feature his signature dishes throughout this promotion.

Focusing on The Pearl of the Orient Penang this Thursday June 6, 2013, diners can have a taste of the glorious Malaysian dishes from the Island State.

 Penang has always been famous for its hawker or street food fare. Among its world famous irresistible hawker delights, the must eat food from Penang are Nasi Kandar, Char Kway Teow, Lok Bak, Roti Jala and Laksa.
