Permatang Pauh MP Nurul Izzah Anwar tied the knot today with Yin Shao Loong in a quiet ceremony here attended by close friends and family members.
The solemnisation ceremony took place in the family’s home in Bandar Sungai Long, Kajang.
They haD been dating for some time but managed to keep the relationship under wraps with only a few close friends and family members having knowledge of it.
Yin, 46, is a senior research associate at Khazanah Research Institute.
Yin also served as executive director of PKR think tank Institute Rakyat which was headed by Nurul Izzah.
He was married to award-winning filmmaker Tan Chui Mui. The couple who have a young son together divorced two years ago.
Nurul Izzah, 42, meanwhile was married to businessman Raja Ahmad Shahrir Iskandar Raja Salim at her parents’ home in Segambut in 2003 but were divorced on January 15, 2015.
They have two children, a 15-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy.
