Light aircraft crashed in Medan Gopeng, Ipoh

IPOH: A light plane is believed to have crashed by the roadside near Sungai Rokam, Medan Gopeng, Ipoh tonight.
It is believed the incident involved two victims but the details and identities of those involved are still not known.
Perak police chief Datuk Mior Faridalathrash Wahid when contacted by Bernama said police are at the location to investigate.
Several pictures and videos showing the blue and white aircraft diving went viral on social media and several parts of the aircraft appeared damaged.
Meanwhile, the head of Ipoh Fire and Rescue Station, Azman Hussin, said a team of firefighters rushed to the scene of the incident after receiving a call at 8.10pm.
"On arrival at the scene it was found that a small plane had crashed.
"There were two victims and the fire department immediately carried out the work of removing them," he said.
Both of them were released at 9.25 and 9.35 pm respectively.
