GEORGE TOWN: A 22-year-old Swedish medical student who fell to her death here is said to have been despaired over her break-up with her boyfriend and failing her exams.
Just before her fatal fall from the fourth floor of her condominium unit in Halaman York here, Mridu Kaul was spotted dancing in the nude in her bedroom.
She was found dead by a resident at 8.45pm on Saturday.
OCPD Asst Comm Che Zaimani Che Awang said a friend revealed that the victim was heartbroken after discovering two weeks ago that her boyfriend had a new love.

“Three witnesses also saw her dancing naked as she listened to sad songs in her room. She then threw a bag of rubbish out of her window before falling to her death,” he added.
ACP Che Zaimani said the police had classified the case as sudden death.
