Famed "tit-tar" practitioner Chris Leong returns home (updated)

PETALING JAYA: Famed "tit-tar" traditional Chinese medicine practitioner Chris Leong returned safely to Malaysia on Sunday (March 10).
In a live video on his personal Facebook page, Leong can be seen being greeted by journalists and several people at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).
After speaking to journalists, Leong even felt relaxed enough to give some impromptu treatment to a few KLIA officers and bystanders.
Leong said he was not placed on Indonesia's immigration blacklist and can re-enter the country again.
"Maybe I will go Indonesia again next year. It took the authorities a long time to complete the investigation but we were released as soon as the investigation was completed.
Leong also said that he would provide free treatment to any Indonesian who visited his centres, as a way of "giving back".
He said that all they have to do is to show their passports to get the free treatment.
Leong also thanked ministers, Indonesian government officials and Malaysians who gave him support.
He also said that he was among a group of 20 who were detained, comprising 16 Malaysians, three Hong Kongers and one Belgian.
On Jan 9, Leong and his 19-member team were detained by Indonesian authorities in Palembang for allegedly violating their tourist visas and conducting illegal commercial activities there.
Sumatera's Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights head Sudirman D Hury said based on the interviews carried out by the authorities, 17 of the individuals were volunteers of the Chris Leong Method (CLM) agency based in Malaysia, including Leong himself.
According to Antara News Sumsel, Sudirman was quoted as saying that these individuals had allegedly abused their visas by carrying out therapeutic services in the country.
The group claimed to be carrying out "charity work" in the country, but according to the Indonesian news agency, the patients who visited the group paid 4.5mil rupiah (RM1,300) for the service.
